Who doesn’t have some sort of prescription these days. Pill bottles are containers that are open and exposed, revealing all kinds of personal information about the patient. Although taking a prescription is not a very public matter there are still opportunities where a patients information can be seen. I wanted to change that by creating some kind of product that could camouflage any confidential information that the patient would like to be kept private on a prescription bottle. That’s how I created PillOver.

The purpose of PillOver is to provide designs that are attractive, appealing, but also work to camouflage prescription pill bottles and deliver privacy. This product would be created and sold in CVS stores. This product would have multiple color patterns catered towards a wide variety age group. The sleeve would also come with a sticker to be placed on top of the bottle where the buyer can put some indication that the prescription belongs to them, such as a nickname or initials, as well as a place to put the time of day the medication should be taken. Packaging would be included with the product. All other information required for the prescription would be carefully hidden under the sleeve. To the right is the final type, color palette, and logo iterations.
